We are seeking a full time Optical Sales Consultant/Licensed Optician to support our Orlando office.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Dispenses, make adjustments, and basic repairs to framesReviews and interpret Optometrist's/MD's prescriptionsOperates manual lensometer and other tools to achieve proper fittings for patientsEducates patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their medical needs as well as lifestyle preferencesProvides honest but compassionate feedback about aesthetic choices in frameAchieves sales goals and quotas as determined by leadership while attending to patients' specific needs and desiresWorks with the Regional Optical Manager in maintaining inventory of frames to ensure optimum customer satisfaction and product varietyCommunicates with the appropriate provider with questions or concerns about prescriptions and other eye-related issuesRequirements:Education & Experience:High School diploma or equivalent GED, requiredAssociates degree, preferred Minimum of two (2) years optical sales experience, requiredOptician license in Florida (preferred)Bilingual (English/Spanish), preferredKnowledge Skills & Abilities:Caring, helpful and professional demeanor and appearance.Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteHands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers)Solid written and verbal communication skills.Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues ariseExcellent organizational skillsMultitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasksPIf890aa069b22-25660-37098157
