Embedded Software Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be part of a nimble and innovative team finding creative design solutions to customer problems in both the airborne and ruggedized ground-support spaces. You will work on software architecture, design, unit-testing, and integration testing. You will partner with talented systems and electrical engineers in a culture of fast-faced innovation. You will collaborate with a small team of innovative software engineers with expertise across networking, data processing, and security.
Responsibilities:

• Architecture design, implementation, documentation, unit-testing, and integration testing of software for embedded microcontrollers
• Design embedded software which is scalable, efficient, and reliable
• Collaborate effectively with other software engineers, systems engineers, and electrical engineers
• Execution of software tasks required for new product design, feature enhancements, bug fixes,
• Clearly communicate development plan, status and risks cross-functionally and to management
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously with ability to prioritize and meet project timing commitmentsRequirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Experience with embedded software in C/C++
  • Capable of reading electronic hardware schematics
  • Expert in operating laboratory equipment including oscilloscope, protocol analyzer, and logic analyzer
  • Understand hardware interfaces including PCI Express, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C
  • Understand and execute industry best-practices
  • Ability to take a complex project from concept to production with minimal supervision or direction
  • Ability to debug difficult system level issues and find resolution
