Job Title: RN Med Surg Tele Location: Oviedo, FL 32765 Salary: $29.00 - 1 Year $32.88 - 5 Year $36.81 - 10 Year $42.13 - 17 yr. max Based on Experience Relocation: Case by Case --- Sign on: $15k sign on with 2 yr. commitment Summary: The Med-Surg Registered Nurseis responsible for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care; health teaching and counseling of the ill, injured, or infirm; and the promotion of wellness, maintenance of health, and prevention of illness of others. Administers medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized by a duly licensed practitioner authorized by the laws of this state to prescribe such medications and treatments. Medical-Surgical is a 24-Bed unit. Our number one goal is patient safety and satisfaction --- Nursing Diploma or ASN, BSN preferred. --- Recent experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred. --- Current Florida State Registered Nurse license If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire. --- Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications. --- Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. --- Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills. Additional Information: Nights ONLY 2 years hospital experience in MED SURG TELE required The Med Surg is 24 Beds & Cardiac Neuro (Tele) is 24 beds
