Starting pay: $17.50/hour
Parksite is looking to add a Production Assembler to their team!
The Production Assembler is responsible for assisting the
production department by performing the following duties:
Pre-finish building materials and assemble pre-hung doors
Prep materials based on pre-finish and building requirements
Pre-finish material based on quality standards and WO
requirements
Manufacture all necessary parts and assemble
Record daily totals of material produced and turn in to Production
Scheduler
Record damaged and defective material
Follow established Red Tag Process
Properly store inventory
Maintain materials in correct designated locations
Protect materials from damage with proper handling and storage
techniques
Promptly straighten any unorganized areas
Think of better ways to store/move materials and consult with
Production Supervisor or Operations Manager
Maintain the working area and keep the general appearance of the
shop in a clean and orderly condition
Give prompt attention to maintaining a neat shop and promoting
safety
Assist in building repairs, maintenance and organizing shops and
warehouse areas
Properly handle and care for equipment and pre-finishing
materials
Any abuse or unsafe use of equipment or pre-finishing materials
should be reported to the Production Supervisor
Inspect all equipment (including forklifts, electric lifts and
pallet jacks) daily for any malfunctions or dripping fluid
Any dripping fluid should be cleaned up per the established
containment and clean-up procedure
Report any malfunction of equipment to the Production
Supervisor
Implement a regular maintenance program for all shop equipment
Education / Experience
Education
High School Diploma/GED
Specialized knowledge of equipment used could include:
Types of equipment may include: various saws; various sanders; air
exchange, hoses and tools; power tools; hand tools; pre-finish
equipment and applications and door assembly and building
equipment; packaging equipment; and hydraulic lifting equipment
(forklifts, electric jacks, etc.).
Skills & Experience
Knowledge of painting and staining steel, fiber classic and wood
materials
Knowledge of building materials and carpenter skills
