The Electrician Power Systems at Walt Disney World is responsible for the operation and maintenance of electrical systems within the RCES Utility Plants. This role requires a qualified Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or utility environments, focusing on power distribution and safety procedures. The position involves working in various environments, including elevated platforms and confined spaces, and is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity of Disney's electrical systems across the parks and resorts.

The Electrician Power Systems is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the RCES Utility Plants' electrical systems. The field service position may include work from elevated platforms and confined spaces throughout the Walt Disney World Parks and Resort property.

The pay rate for this role in Florida is $39.43 per hour.

• Valid Florida driver's license
• Must be a qualified Journeyman Electrician with a minimum of 5 years' experience in an industrial and/or utility environment.
• Experience in power distribution, generation systems and associated controls
• Understanding of OSHA and industry standard lock-out tag-out safety procedures
• Ability to pass a role-specific, technical knowledge-based written assessment and interview
• Ability to read electrical schematics
• Possess the ability to interpret blueprints
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency in standard office software programs and mobile electronic devicesPreferred Education :
  • An Associates degree in an engineering related field is desired.Additional Information : Schedule Availability:
