Are you a car fanatic with specialized knowledge in automotive technology and service work? We're looking for a problem-solving automotive service advisor to join our busy car dealership! Our ideal candidate has great customer service skills and can tackle everything from fielding customer concerns and scheduling appointments for our service department to make accurate calls about vehicle warranty protections. Responsibilities:

--- Communicate necessary repairs to customers scheduling service appointments by explaining automotive technology in a clear, digestible manner
--- Follow up after completed service appointments to ensure customers are satisfied with vehicle repairs
--- Review and verify vehicle warranty protections and service contract coverage when developing cost estimates, work orders, and other paperwork related to necessary repairs
--- Appropriately file all automotive documents such as maintenance records, invoices, repair orders, and more
--- Work with the dealership auto service porter to ensure vehicles are ready for customer pick-up
--- Provide written detailed quotes for pool equipment
--- Explain recommended repairs
--- Install and diagnose equipment including pool automation, variable speed pumps, heaters, filters, salt systems, lighting, and electrical
--- Keep records of services performed including pictures
--- Instruct clients on best practices for maintaining their pool

Qualifications:

--- Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
--- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
--- Work history should include a service advisor role or other employment-related to automotive technology
--- Must have problem-solving and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other fundamental programs
--- A valid, state-issued driver's license and clean driving record is required
--- Three years or greater in pool repairs & service experience
--- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are necessary
--- Able to diagnose and repair automation, plumbing, heaters, electrical
--- Pool renovation experience a plus
--- Problem-solving skills
--- Computer and software skills
--- Florida Drivers license with good driving record
--- No criminal background
