As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be part of a nimble and innovative team finding creative design solutions to customer problems in both the airborne and ruggedized ground-support spaces. You will work on software architecture, design, unit-testing, and integration testing. You will partner with talented systems and electrical engineers in a culture of fast-faced innovation. You will collaborate with a small team of innovative software engineers with expertise across networking, data processing, and security.Responsibilities:Architecture design, implementation, documentation, unit-testing, and integration testing of software for embedded microcontrollersDesign embedded software which is scalable, efficient, and reliableCollaborate effectively with other software engineers, systems engineers, and electrical engineers Execution of software tasks required for new product design, feature enhancements, bug fixes, Clearly communicate development plan, status and risks cross-functionally and to managementWork on multiple projects simultaneously with ability to prioritize and meet project timing commitmentsRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 4 years of experience in software engineeringExperience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) Experience with embedded software in C/C++Capable of reading electronic hardware schematicsExpert in operating laboratory equipment including oscilloscope, protocol analyzer, and logic analyzer Understand hardware interfaces including PCI Express, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2CUnderstand and execute industry best-practicesAbility to take a complex project from concept to production with minimal supervision or directionAbility to debug difficult system level issues and find resolution This position will be located at a facility that requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen or green card holder.
