Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for overseeing the
company's marketing activities, developing strategic communication
plans, and driving marketing initiatives. You and your team will
create and execute a diverse range of online and offline marketing
campaigns aimed at building brand awareness, positioning us as a
thought leader, and expanding our sales pipeline.Key
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Translate business objectives into a
robust and effective marketing strategy to achieve company
goals.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage a full-time
marketing team of six and a network of freelancers.
- Agency Oversight: Manage the performance and output of our
content and digital marketing agency.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders
across sales and product management to ensure alignment and support
for marketing campaigns.
- Sales Support: Provide the sales team with collateral and
content to enhance prospect conversion.
- Demand Generation: Utilize a range of tactics-including ABM,
paid social, webinars, and email marketing-to generate MQLs and
drive pipeline growth.
- Content Marketing: Oversee the execution of content marketing
activities such as thought leadership, blogs, eBooks, webinars, and
videos through our agency, ensuring high-quality output.
- Digital Presence: Manage the company website, ensuring content
is optimized for SEO, and build our presence across social media
channels including LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
- Marketing Automation: Ensure seamless integration of marketing
and sales activities, setup and maintenance of workflows, and
personalized content delivery through our Marketing Automation
Manager.
- Performance Analysis: Track and report on metrics such as
traffic, CAC, MQLs, conversion rates, attribution, web analytics,
and pipeline growth.
- Department Leadership: Direct the marketing department,
aligning activities with business goals and optimizing resource
allocation.
- Marketing Plans: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing
plans to drive brand awareness and profitability.
- Budget Management: Oversee and report on the monthly marketing
budget.Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5
years in a leadership role within a B2B tech environment, including
experience in directing a marketing department.
- Proven track record in developing and executing marketing
strategies that enhance brand awareness and drive pipeline
growth.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to
present at the board level and inspire a team.
- Broad experience across online and offline marketing
channels.
- Strong relationship-building skills and experience managing
external marketing agencies.Exposure to real-world marketing
