We invite you to shine with us as we redefine the art of storytelling.Memoir is looking for an Immersive Experience Event Manager who has a background in both live events management and production management. We are looking for an individual who can handle the uniqueness of our show which is a blend of a live event and a production set. The ideal candidate is someone who is always thinking two steps ahead and can instruct a large crew of staff to be on the same page on a nightly basis, in real time. Must thrive with real time changes and solving challenges from night to night.Position Overview:

• Event Manager will provide excellent guest service to ensure Memoir quality standards are met.
• Event Manager will participate in pre-production alongside Producer assisting in hiring, training, scheduling, on site QC walks, and other assigned duties.
• Event Manager will be responsible for all staff both on and off site: Shuttles, valet, on site parking, off site parking, security, PD and event staff and ensure quality standards and protocols are being met.
• Event Manager will walk the event continuously and monitor all staff and activities.
• Event Manager will help promote event safety by monitoring attendees for signs of disruptive behavior, like excessive intoxication, potential environmental hazards (tripping) and escalating issues to management as necessary.
• Event Manager will answer a variety of guest questions, and must be knowledgeable about every aspect of the event, providing the most accurate and up to date information possible.
• Event Manager will assist guests in finding their way through the gardens by offering concise directions and communicating with staff.
• Event Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily opening and closing procedures of the event.
• Event Manager will be responsible for implementing emergency procedures that arise.
• Event Manager will be responsible for submitting nightly reports detailing the events operations and any issues encountered.
• Event Manager will conduct performance reviews of staff based on nightly observations.
• Event Manager will submit maintenance requests for any identified issues.
• Event Manager will participate in weather calls on their scheduled nights.
• Event Manager will be available on Slack for communication and updates.
• Event Manager will be responsible for scheduling staff, staff communications, and determining nightly staff roles.
• Event Manager reports to the Producer.Requirements:
  • Ability to complete physically demanding tasks, such as standing and/or walking for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work outside in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold temperatures)
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations may be made to allow differently-abled individuals to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • At least one year of experience in a guest-facing role
  • Must be prompt, and be able to work all shifts as assigned.
  • Reliable forms of communication & transportation
  • Staff provide their own attire, with approval (black pants & shirts are recommended. Closed toe shoes are required at all times)
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and execute the operation of the event on a nightly basis.The Ideal Candidate:
    • Has prior event and production experience
    • Has high quality customer service experience, excellent problem solving skills, and an acute attention to detail
    • Has prior experience with mobile ticketing platforms
    • Enjoys interacting with guests and also having a role behind the scenes
    • Has prior experience leading and motivating other team members
    • Is reliable
    • Customer service de-escalation expertise
    • Ability to multitask
    • Ability to take initiative
    • Ability to manage staff, on-site HR, and scheduling
    • Ability to write nightly reports and fill out other needed documentation
    • Has an outwardly presentable demeanor & attitude
    • Has 7 days availabilityThis is a temporary full time position. Holidays and weekends are required.Pre-Production: 9/1/2025-11/27/2025Event Dates: 11/28/2025-1/4/2026Pay Details: Starting at $300 for event days. Higher rates may be offered for potential staff with significant experience. Payments will be made weekly.
