DescriptionRetail Sales Senior Director or Vice President, USA
Remote based job opening for an individual who has been part of the
growth of a vendor D2C/B2C consumer goods, sporting goods,
clothing, tech, accessories, apparel companies. Have you worked for
a Vendor brand for 4-6+ years and profitably opened doors from
retail distribution via any of the likes of Dick's Sporting Goods,
Costco, PGA? Other examples of interest might include Best Buy,
Walmart, Sports Shops, Golf or Tennis Clubs, Luxury Resorts,
Hotels, Airport Retail, etc.Our client of many years is seeking a
dynamic and experienced Retail Sales Director to spearhead retail
expansion and drive sales performance. This is a high-impact role
where you'll hire and lead a talented sales team of representatives
and account managers, to forge strong vendor relationships, and
leverage data-driven insights to optimize your retail presence in
the USA for this less than 10-year-old now global brand.What You'll
Do:
- Lead and inspire: Build, develop, and mentor a high-performing
retail sales account management team.
- Expand our reach: Develop and execute a strategic door
expansion plan, identifying new retail opportunities and maximizing
market penetration.
- Build strong partnerships: Cultivate collaborative
relationships with key vendors, ensuring seamless communication and
joint business planning.
- Analyze and optimize: Leverage SKU-level data and TURF analysis
to drive inventory efficiency and maximize sales performance.What
You'll Need:
- Proven track record of success in retail operations sales
leadership.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven
decision-making.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and
relationship-building skills.
