Job description: The Mechanical Engineering Intern will work with
the Engineering Manager and Director of Operations to create an
appropriately scoped project list addressing immediate business
requirements for our Manufacturing processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Support roll-out of new engineering projects.
Review and document new/revised manufacturing processes.
Support set-up of manufacturing work areas for optimized
assembly.
Coordinate tooling set-ups and requirements for optimized
production floor utilization.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed to support AMETEK,
Inc.'s Mission Statement and company goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Individuals must be able to present and discuss project plans,
requirements, test results, etc. in a team based work
environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly
required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands
and arms; and talk or hear.The employee frequently is required to
sit and occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance; and
stoop, kneel, or crouch.The employee must be able to lift and/or
move up to 25 pounds.

TECHNOLOGIES/SKILLS
Project Management experience a plus
Exposure to LEAN methodologies
Experience with ERP system (Oracle)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is

the work environment is usually moderate
