Kavaliro's client is seeking a Staff Accountant in Orlando, FL, to join their team. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in financial reporting, reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.


Assist in preparing financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.


Handle non-profit and trust accounting functions, including fund tracking and reporting.


Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end close processes.


Perform bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow management.


Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and financial modeling.


Support audit preparation and ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements.


Collaborate with internal teams to optimize accounting procedures and financial controls.



Qualifications:2+ years of accounting experience in a similar role.


Experience in non-profit and/or trust accounting is required.


Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other functions).


Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.


Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.


Experience with accounting software is a plus.
