You will collaborate with game teams across the company. Together,
we will innovate and lead the future of gaming. Working onsite at
our new EA Madrid Office and reporting to a Senior Engineering
Manager, you will:
- Provide technical leadership within a software development team
to envision, architect, and build enterprise solutions that enhance
game development. You will help shape the software that supports
our games.
- Contribute within the product's leadership team by creating
product vision, gathering requirements from partners across the
entire organization, including FC, Madden, Battlefield, and central
teams such as Frostbite and EA Access. You will help develop the
product roadmap and present it to upper management.
- Evaluate build versus buy and open source options to meet
project goals, ensuring that our solutions are both
cost-effective.
- Mentor less experienced team members throughout the software
development process, including participating in design and code
reviews, and promoting the usage of coding best practices. Your
guidance will help shape the next generation of EA developers.
- Oversee support and administrative actions related to the
installation and maintenance of production systems, while
engineering solutions that require minimal support. You will ensure
that our systems are reliable.
- Maintain the stability of the application in production,
ensuring that our games run smoothly for millions of players
worldwide.
- Support internal users by providing assistance and solutions
that enhance their productivity and efficiency.Qualifications
- 8+ years developing enterprise-level solutions
- 7+ years in database development
- 7+ years in source control management, including branching
strategies.
- 7+ years with SDLC/ALM tools, such as JIRA, Perforce,
Artifactory, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- 7+ years in automated build pipelines, continuous integration,
and deployment.
- 3+ years working with cloud platforms. (Azure preferred).
- 3+ years with Agile project management.
- B.S. in computer science or a related technical field
(preferred) or equivalent experienceNice To Have
- Experience with automation tools: Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or
Terraform.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes.
- Experience with DevOps in cloud environments, automation, and
configuration as code.
- Experience with AI/ML.
- Cloud Certifications in Azure (preferred) or AWS.About
